Note that Opel is #2, with an increasing market share compared to January last year. In 2017 Opel was part of GM, now it’s part of PSA (Peugeot/Citroën). Also, interesting (to me) is that the two major Korean brands are at #5 and #7, while the best selling Japanese brand dropped to #12. Oh, how the mighty have fallen indeed.

I also find it interesting that Opel, former-GM, sold roughly the same amount of cars in my stamp-sized tiny country in one month as it did in Australia. Where it has a unique brand. Yet, GM couldn’t get it profitable in Europe. Tells you something about their incompetence I guess.

I do find the market share of VW to be sickening though. Such a immoral corporation with such incredibly vanilla products doesn’t deserve this success.

Hard to believe the market share goes from 19 to 10%. I was curious about how it looked in murica (December 2017).

The way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re gone in 5-10 years
